"Cook your child's favorite meal together" or "Practice patience with your child." This calendar is marked with a different task everyday to help you become a better and stronger parent!

Ready to build on your parenting skills? Try one of these tips every day for a month. You’ll not only strengthen your relationship with your child, you’ll help protect your family from underage drinking.

Day 1

Ask: "What is one thing we can do together this month?"

Day 2

Go the whole day without raising your voice.

Day 3

Hug your child three times today.

Day 4

Ask: "How was your day?" and tell him/her about yours.

Day 5

Praise your child today.

Day 6

Cook your child’s favorite food together.

Day 7

Be prepared: make or review your family’s safety plan.

Day 8

Turn off phone, computer or TV today when you are with your child, even if for an hour.

Share with your child your favorite activity when you were their age.

Focus on health: go for a walk today.

Share with your child what you appreciate about them.
